   on the relationship among reflectivity, motivation, critical thinking: a case study of efl learners

چکیده    In today’s world, education is more challenging than ever. it is considered as one of the most significant elements in the development of people. english language learners (ells) are faced with numerous language challenges inside and outside of the classroom. the main purpose of the current study was an investigation into the potential relationship between variables such as reflectivity, motivation, and critical thinking of the efl learners. three separate questionnaires, reflectivity questionnaire, gardner’s attitude/motivation test battery questionnaire (amtb), and honey’s critical thinking questionnaire‎ regarding the three variables of this study were emailed to the participants. once the data was gathered, pearson correlation coefficient statistics revealed that there was significant correlation between reflectivity and learners’ motivation (r=0.76, p-value=0.00). also, another pearson correlation regarding reflectivity and learners’ critical thinking indicated a high and positive correlation (r=0.87, p-value=0.00). the findings of the current research can contribute with practical ideas in foreign language to provide further perspectives on the broad trends of the students in their critical thinking, thinking, motivation and the causes of such change.
