چکیده
|
The aim of the current study was to assess the level of iranian learners’ foreign language anxiety and its possible relationship with their level of self- efficacy in speaking during online learning process. the other aim of the present study was to predict whether the iranian efl learners’ level of foreign language anxiety can predict their level of self-efficacy in speaking during online learning process. to attain the purposes of the study, the researcher asked 60 iranians efl learners to participate in this study. to assess the level of the participants’ foreign language anxiety, foreign language anxiety classroom scale (flacs) was used. moreover, a questionnaire was used to measure the learners’ self-efficacy in speaking in online education. to analyze the obtained data, a set of descriptive statistics, pearson correlation test, and regression test were performed. the results indicated that there is a significant relationship between iranian efl learners’ foreign language anxiety and their self-efficacy in speaking during online education. moreover, it was demonstrated that the level of foreign language anxiety is a good predictor of iranian efl learners’ self-efficacy in speaking during online learning process.
