چکیده
|
Teachers’ career motivation and teachers’ job satisfaction are the factors influencing organizational commitment. this research is aimed to empirically examine the roles of teachers’ career motivation and teachers’ job satisfaction in the commitment of the organization in private schools. for this purpose, using a stratified sampling method, a sample, including 126 female and male efl teachers were chosen from mashhad, iran. three scales of career motivation (pohlmann & möller, 2010), job satisfaction (luthans, 2008), and organizational commitment (allen & meyer, 1990) are used in collecting the data. the data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression techniques. teachers’ career motivation more dominantly influences organizational commitment compared to teachers’ job satisfaction. the results have a significant implication for the iranian educational stakeholders that they have to construct a charming and favorable climate in schools.
