cfd simulation of biogas production bioreactor

In this work, a biogas production bioreactor on a laboratory scale was simulated. by studying the previous works, a suitable mechanism for simulation was presented. the dimensions of the bioreactor were extracted from the experimental work and the hydraulic retention time (hrt) of the materials inside the bioreactor is 25 days. the results obtained from the simulation were validated and compared and showed a favorable result. it was investigated to understand the reaction of concentration changes. the simulation was done in 3d space of comsol.
