As one of the most interesting topics in social sciences, teachers' job satisfaction has been focused on in many scientific works because job satisfaction is essential to a language institute's overall commitment and productivity. the high-quality relationship between the supervisors and teachers can significantly enhance the english teachers' job satisfaction. educational supervision has increasingly become attentive within the last few decades. many educators deal with the role of supervisors in the education process. so, how well-developed communication skills between english teachers and the supervisors influence english teachers' job description. this research aims to study the effect of well-developed communication skills between supervisors and teachers on english teachers' job satisfaction. the study participants were english teachers with ba, ma, or ph.d. degrees, teaching in iranian language institutes. the questionnaires were given to 76 teachers, and 101 supervisors selected randomly to investigate english teachers' overall job satisfaction. the overall responses gained from the comparison with their responses to the items regarding their communication with the supervisors. upon comparing the scores of job satisfaction with the respective scores given by the teachers to their communication, in terms of quality and quantity, with the supervisors, shows how the well-developed communication skills between english teachers and the supervisors influence english teachers' job description. the results of this research indicated that well-developed communication skills between the supervisors and teachers and between the teachers and colleagues would enhance productivity. the study reiterates the difference between the communication skills of supervisors and teachers. it reveals that supervisors have better communication skills than teachers. also, it was concluded that the communication skills of a teacher have a lot to do with the job satisfaction of teachers.need to be trained for that.
