In an attempt to synthesize efficient photocatalyst we had prepared cufe2o4-cuo nanoparticles by a facile microwave-assisted combustion reaction to degrade tetracycline-hcl (tch) and ciprofloxacin-hcl (cip) antibiotic pollutants in the solar spectrum range. the nanocomposite was characterized using x-ray diffraction (xrd) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (fesem)). the magnetic cufe2o4-cuo has shown the macropores structure. besides, this exhibited ferromagnetic behavior at room temperature. as a result, cufe2o4-cuo could approximately eliminated 50 mg/l tch and 20 mg/l cip at about 70.8% and 42.7%, respectively after 150 min irradiation.
