   efficacious adsorption-degradation of pharmaceuticals over nanosheet bi24o31cl10-bi3o4cl binary nanophotocatalyst: in situ microwave-assisted citric acid-nitrate combustion design

چکیده    In the following study, the visible-light-active bismuth-based binary nanophotocatalyst bi24o31cl10-bi3o4cl has been synthesized by in situ microwave-combustion method and assessed in the degradation of tetracycline, and levofloxacin. bi24o31cl10-bi3o4cl, as a result, illustrates notable activity by removing 50 mg/l tetracycline-hcl and 25 mg/l levofloxacin with the percentage of 66.15, and 55.6 after 180 min irradiation respectively. the mentioned nanophotocatalyst was characterized by fesem and xrd analyses. the high performance of the nanophotocatalyst could be due to the formation of defects that may have surged the light accumulation and photocatalytic adsorption-desorption by nanosheet-structured bi24o31cl10-bi3o4cl. thus, the number of electron-hole pairs will rise and their recombination will decline, while the nanosheet-structured morphology could help to improve and promote the surface adsorption of pollutants molecules.
