چکیده    The photocatalytic activity of titania (tio2) nanoparticles was improved using nitrogen as a dopant and urea as a nitrogen source. it was validated using fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (ft-ir), aiming to apply (in the future) in the polymeric structure of pvdf/mwcnt ultrafiltration membranes. congo red (cr), methylene blue (mb), and bovine serum albumin (bsa) were selected as model membrane foulants to perform photocatalytic degradation studies using nitrogen-doped tio2 (n-tio2), where a maximum of 46% degradation in ph=12 was achieved for mb. also, 37% and 7% degradation have resulted in neutral ph for cr and bsa, respectively.
