on mt -cyclic contractions

In this paper, we introduced the notion hardy-rogers mt - cyclic contraction. using this concept, we investigate the existence of best proximity point for such mappings in metric spaces. the uniqueness of this point will be obtain by imposing an additional condition, so called 'property uc'. at the end, using the denition of mt -cyclic orbital contraction, we shall prove and discuss the existence and uniqueness of xed point of such mappings in the setting of metric space and b-metric space.
