In this research, ternary magnetic ag2s/zns/fe3o4 nanocomposite was successfully synthesized via facile co-precipitation method. characterization methods including x-ray diffraction spectroscopy, tem microscopy and photoluminescence spectroscopy were used to study the structural, morphological and optical properties of ag2s/zns/fe3o4 nanocomposite as a nano-photocatalyst for removing heavy metals in the decomposition of baft steel factory effluen. pl analysis showed that the peak intensity of ag2s/zns/fe3o4 is lower than ag2s/zns nanocomposite, that indicating the reduction of electron-hole recombination and the promotion of optical charge carrier transport. in addition, the ag2s/zns/fe3o4 photocatalyst was easily separated by a simple magnet after the catalytic reaction and showed very stable performance after recycling, reusability and stability. therefore, the biocompatible and reusable ag2s/zns/fe3o4 magnetic nanocomposite can be considered as an effective and high-efficiency photocatalyst for the degradation of heavy metals from industrial wastewater under visible and ultraviolet light irradiation.
