چکیده
|
Dracocephalum kotschyi boiss is a perennial plant that belongs to the mint family and is native and endemic to iran. this plant also plays a role in strengthening the immune system and has essential oil, rosmarinic acid and monoterpene glycosides, from which two new monoterpene compounds have been isolated (saeidnia et al., 2004). the essential oil obtained from the genus dracocephalum has high antioxidant properties and is used in the treatment of stomach pain and flatulence due to its antibacterial and antiseptic properties (dastmalchi et al., 2007).the traditional propagation of this plant is through seeds, which is limited due to germination problems, so the use of tissue culture technique to propagation of this plant is very importance. at the present, many plants are produced worldwide through tissue culture, and micropropagation has become an important technique to improve the modern agriculture. in 70% of commercial laboratories, the main goal is rapid plant growth. according to the sales statistics of tissue culture products, more than one billion plants are estimated per year (foroozandeh & asadi, 2021). in micropropagation of some plants, rooting of regenrated shoots is often a challenge and its rate is low. therefore, it is important to examine different hormonal treatments, especially auxins, to induce rooting in regenrated shoots in vitro and produce a sufficient number of roots with appropriate size without forming callus and have good performance after transplanted in the soil (bady, 2018).
