تاملی بر کار کودکان در فضای مجازی

به‌کارگرفتن کودکان برای انجام کارهای سخت و طاقت‌فرسا یا کارهایی که به سلامت و تحصیل شان آسیب برساند، مذموم است. باوجوداین تاریخ گواهی می‌دهد که این عمل قبیح در کشورهای مختلف رایج بوده و مع‌الاسف مطابق تحقیق‌های صورت گرفته، هنوز هم ادامه دارد. سال‌های گذشته درپی گسترش استفاده شهروندان از فضای مجازی، با هدف بهره‌وری اقتصادی، پای کودکان نیز به این محیط باز شد که برخی، آنان را کودکان کار فضای مجازی نامیده‌اند. نگارنده در پژوهش پیش رو درصدد است با روشی توصیفی - تحلیلی به این پرسش، پاسخ دهد که طبق قوانین کنونی، آیا چنین کودکانی کارگر محسوب می‌شوند، یا خیر؟ بررسی‌های انجام‌شده حاکی از آن است که فعالیت کودکان در فضای مجازی حالت‌های متفاوتی دارد که طبق قوانین کنونی، بیشتر این کودکان را نمی‌توان کارگر دانست. به‌هرروی، این قبیل فعالیت‌ها برای کودکان آسیب‌های متعددی را به‌دنبال دارد و سلامت روانی آنان را به‌خطر می اندازد.

reflection on children's work in the virtual space

employing children for arduous and harmful work that jeopardizes their health and education is condemned. however, historical evidence shows that this reprehensible act has been prevalent in various countries and, unfortunately, continues to exist according to research conducted. in recent years, with the expansion of citizens’ use of the virtual space for economic purposes, children have also been exposed to this environment, and some refer to them as child laborers in the virtual space. in this research, the author aims to answer the question, using a descriptive-analytical method, whether such children are considered workers according to current laws or not. the conducted investigations indicate that children’s activities in the virtual space have different characteristics, and according to current laws, most of these children cannot be considered as workers. nevertheless, such activities have various detrimental effects on children, endangering their mental well-being.
