چکیده    Biginelli multicomponent reaction is one of the important reactions in synthetic organic chemistry which is due to the myriad of medicinal properties of its products. this reaction involves the combination of an aldehyde, a β-keto ester and urea. the use of catalyst results in higher reaction yields. also, by using heterogeneous catalysts in the reaction, it can be easily recovered and separated from the products. green nanocomposite hydrogel comprised of carrageenan, acrylamide (aam), and n,n,n',n'-ethylene-bis(acrylamide) with copper ion was prepared as a heterogeneous catalyst and was used in biginelli multicomponent reactions. the chemical structure and morphology of the hydrogel were investigated by ft-ir fe-sem and xrd analyses, respectively. the use of a green solvent, high yields, short reaction time, straightforward reactions, easy recyclability, and simple separation of catalyst from products are the main features of the current method, which offers both financial and environmental benefits.
