چکیده    Health monitoring and life prediction of gas turbine units is significant for the purpose of preventing component failure and catastrophic engine outage. along this, it is essential to estimate remaining life of the engine considering different damage mechanisms formed in the hot section components. thermal barrier coatings (tbcs) are commonly used to increase temperature and corrosion resistance in hot section components in order to improve the efficiency of the gas turbine units as well as the life extension of components. this paper aims to estimate tbc life of combustion chamber of a gas turbine unit considering the influence of oxide layer growth and thermo-mechanical fatigue effect. then, considering various in-service conditions for the gas turbine unit, prediction models were developed for different zones with the aim to online life calculation and health monitoring of the combustion chamber.
