Tongue cancer is a type of oral cancer and usually affects the covering part of the tongue. this disease often begins with the appearance of lesions and small tumors on the surface of the tongue and gradually spreads. one of the most important symptoms of tongue cancer is the painfulness of the tongue, so that this pain does not heal and the patient can feel it almost all day. in this regard, the aim of the present study was to review deep learning methods for diagnosing tongue cancer using endoscopic images, during which this issue was addressed by studying valid domestic and foreign articles. the findings showed that most cancers are not fatal if detected early and treated with drugs. but if cancer is not diagnosed in time and people do not start treatment, their lives may be in danger. oral cancer is not an exception to this rule, and as it was said, if diagnosed on time, people s lives can be saved. recently, the use of deep learning in the early diagnosis of various diseases has increased. the results of using such methods show good results for accurate diagnosis of diseases.
