pioneer countries utilize networks in times of emergency centered on military forces, whose key to success is the speed of network creation, resistance to destruction, lightness of communication equipment, resistance to the delay caused by continuous disconnections and the prevention of information loss due to the fact that the majority of modern wars have evolved into information wars in which information superiority plays a crucial role, commanders must have access to accurate, trustworthy, and timely information as well as a continuous information flow. taking the right decision in military confrontation scenes, taking advantage of opportunities and eliminating threats, making the best use of available facilities and resources, and having the capacity to guide and control, all lead to defeating the opponent. while introducing the role of information in modern wars, this article examines the various dimensions of this war, and for crisis conditions, delay-tolerant networks, also known as opportunistic networks, are introduced as a solution to meet the high needs, and the most important protocols related to this network are described in the following.
