چکیده
|
The declining availability of fossil fuels, including crude oil, natural gas, and coal, has rendered the current pace of economic growth unsustainable. as a result, numerous forms of renewable energy have been utilized, however, there are certain other sources, such as plastic waste, that have yet to be fully utilized as a viable economic activity on a large scale. the expansion of development and modernization has led to a significant increase in the production of various plastic products, which inevitably generate waste due to their widespread use and diversity of types, as well as their relatively low cost. the purpose of this paper is to review the current status of plastic recycling technology. plastics have a calorific value comparable to that of hydrocarbon fuels, converting plastic waste into fuel presents a promising opportunity for efficiently utilizing waste through pyrolysis process compared to other plastic recycling methods.
