حیات بشری اکنون در دوره‌ای از تاریخ قرار گرفته که با گسترش جامعه دیجیتال مواجه شده است و جامعه دیجیتال با فناوری هوش مصنوعی به رشد خود ادامه می‌دهد. دولتها، به عنوان مهم‌ترین بازیگران عرصه روابط بین‌الملل در تلاش هستند تا جوامع خود را بر اساس فناوری‌های جدید بازسازی کنند. اگرچه تعریف واحدی در خصوص هوش مصنوعی وجود ندارد که در سطح جهانی پذیرفته شده باشد، اما هوش مصنوعی به عنوان بخشی از مهندسی کامپیوتر به عنوان مجموعه‌ای از سیستم‌های نرم افزاری و سخت افزاری تعریف می‌شود که دارای قابلیتهای زیادی مانند استدلال دیجیتال، حرکت، گفتار و درک صدا هستند که به سیستم‌ها اجازه می‌دهند مانند انسان‌ها فکر کنند. طبیعتاَ چنین تحول شگرفتی بر تمامی عرصه‌های مختلف علمی اثرگذار است و علم روابط بین‌الملل نیز از این قاعده مستثنی نخواهد بود. بنابراین پژوهش حاضر درصدد پاسخگویی به این سئوال است که هوش مصنوعی چه تاثیری بر مفاهیم اساسی روابط بین‌الملل دارد؟ در همین راستا، این پژوهش در پی کشف چگونگی تاثیر تکنولوژی‌های نوین، به خصوص پدیده‌ هوش مصنوعی، بر مفاهیم اساسی روابط بین‌الملل از جمله قدرت، امنیت و حاکمیت خواهد بود.

human life is now in a period of history that is faced with the expansion of digital society, and digital society continues to grow with artificial intelligence technology. governments, as the most important actors in the field of international relations, are trying to rebuild their societies based on new technologies. although there is no universally accepted single definition of artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence as a part of computer engineering is defined as a set of software and hardware systems that have many capabilities such as digital reasoning, movement, speech and voice recognition is what allows systems to think like humans. naturally, such a rapid development affects all different scientific fields, and the science of international relations will not be an exception to this rule. therefore, the current research seeks to answer the question, what effect does artificial intelligence have on the basic concepts of international relations? in this regard, this research will seek to discover how new technologies, especially the phenomenon of artificial intelligence, affect the basic concepts of international relations, including power, security and sovereignty.
