چکیده    Biosensors have been applied widely in various fields including clinical diagnosis, environment monitoring and food control. aluminum oxide (al2o3) is a high k dielectric material with promising biosensor applications. the aluminum oxide (alumina) nano particles synthesized with sol-gel method. aluminum tri-sec-butoxide was used as a precursor with acetylacetone and isopropanol as coupling agent and catalyst, respectively. aluminum precursor and acetylacetone with ratio 1:2 and 1:0.25 were used in this process. nanosturactural properties, surface morphology and chemical quantity of element in the sample were investigated using x-ray diffraction (xrd), scanning electron microscope (sem) and energy dispersive x-ray (edx) techniques, respectively. the obtained results demonstrate that alumina nanoparticles have good surface structures and could be used in electronic devices such as biosensors for medical and pharmaceutical applications.
