چکیده    Aim and background: in this study, the effects of progesterone solid lipid nanoparticles on sperm viability and acrosome reaction were investigated.methods: progesterone slns were prepared using the solvent emulsification evaporation method. 20 sperm samples were separated from semen and were divided into 3 groups including control (c), progesterone slns (np), calcium ionophore (cu) groups. acrosome reaction and sperm viability were assessed.results and discussion: the developed progesterone loaded sln showed the nonometric particle size of 189.5 nm with the polydispersity index of 0.150 and zeta potential value of - 24 mv. in the group np, sperm viability and acrosome reaction was increased (p<0.05).conclusion: progesterone solid lipid nanoparticles increased significantly acrosome reaction and sperm viability in compared to the control group.
