   the reduction in the side effects of anti-coronavirus drug remdesivir and increasing its impacts by using nano-niosome

چکیده    Aim and background: remdesivir is an antiviral agent and after pandemic, widely uses against covid-19 however, toxic effects on lung cells is its primarily side effects. due to the proven impacts on nanocarriers like niosome on the decreasing side effects of drugs, the aim of this study is synthesis and characterize of niosome containing of remdesivir to reduce its side effects on normal lung cells. methods: after fabrication of niosomal systems by thin film method, their physicochemical features were evaluated, and finally the viability of normal lung cells was determin before and after treating with free and niosomal form of by mtt method.results and discussion: the niosomal form, with the size of 172 nm, zeta potential -13±2.4mv, pdi 0.26±0.01 and ee% 86±2.6, has less toxicity compared to the free form of drug on mentioned cells. conclusion: encapsulation of remdesivir in niosome reduces its toxicity on normal lung cells, so it could be concluded that this is an efficient method for treating covid-19 based on nanotechnology.
