مطالعات اجتماعی دریا در جوامع ساحلی: ضرورت یا تکلیف

پرداختن به فضاهای دریایی به عنوان منبعی برای تامین انرژی ، فضایی برای گردشگری و اوقات فراغت، مکانی برای حمل و نقل و تجارت، فضایی به منظور تامین اقتصاد و معیشت و ارتباط با سایر کشورهای دنیا و در نهایت فضایی برای بررسی موضوعات دریایی در دانشگاه ها نه یک ضرورت بلکه یک تکلیف علمی و دانشگاهی، عقلانی و توسعه محور و اخلاقی است. هدف پژوهش حاضر پرداختن به موضوعی است که به تازگی در فضای گفتمانی مطالعات آکادمیک دانشگاهی مطرح شده است. روش پژوهش از نوع توصیفی- کتابخانه ای است و تلاش دارد کلیه منابع را در خصوص ضرورت بحث مطالعات اجتماعی دریا مورد بررسی قرار دهد. در نهایت بررسی و مطالعه اجتماعی دریا به عنوان یکی از ابعاد مطالعات دریایی، پژوهشگران و صاحبنظران این رشته را با مفاهیمی چون جامعه شناسی دریا یا جامعه شناسی در مورد موضوعات دریایی، آشنا می کند. بنابراین این مطالعه قصد دارد به بعدی از ابعاد مطالعاتی دریا که به نظر می رسد پیشتر کمتر به آن پرداخته شده بپردازد. در زمینه مطالعات اجتماعی دریا پارادایم های متفاوتی وجود دارد و همچنین رویکردهای متفاوتی که تلاش دارند چشم اندازهای متفاوتی از توجه به دریا را به عنوان یک موضوع اجتماعی در اختیار صاحبنظران و پژوهشگران قرار دهد. این مطالعات تلاش دارند دریاها را شبیه به استعاره‌ای بدانند که می خواهد مجموعه ای از معانی و نمادها را به ما منتقل ‌کند.

social studies of the sea in coastal societies: necessity or obligation

dealing with marine spaces as a source of energy supply, a space for tourism and leisure, a place for transportation and trade, a space to provide economy and livelihood and communication with other countries of the world, and finally a space for studying marine issues in universities. it is not a necessity but a scientific and academic task, rational and development-oriented, and moral. the purpose of the current research is to deal with a topic that has recently been raised in the discourse space of university academic studies. the research method is of a descriptive library type and tries to examine all the sources regarding the necessity of discussing the social studies of the sea. finally, the study and social study of the sea as one of the dimensions of marine studies, introduces the researchers and experts of this field to concepts such as the sociology of the sea or the sociology of marine issues. therefore, this study intends to deal with the next aspects of the study of the sea, which seems to have been less discussed before. in the field of social studies of the sea, there are different paradigms and also different approaches that try to provide experts and researchers with different perspectives of attention to the sea as a social issue. these studies try to consider the seas as a metaphor that wants to convey a set of meanings and symbols to us.
