تومور مغزی یک توده غیر طبیعی در مغز است که بنا به ماهیت سلولهای تشکیل دهنده می تواند خوش خیم یا بدخیم باشد منشا تومور شاید از بافت مغز باشد یا از محل دیگری به مغز منتشر می شود یا اصطلاحاً متاستاز ایجاد می شود. تومور مغزی به عبارت دیگر نوعی نئوپلاسم داخل جمجمه ای سخت و توپر با یک تومور رشد غیر طبیعی سلولی در داخل مغز یا کانال مرکزی نخاع است تومورهای مغزی تمامی تومورهای داخل جمجمه یا تومورهای درون کانال مرکزی نخا ع را در بر می گیرند، این تومورها از طریق تقسیم سلولی کنترل نشده و غیر طبیعی ایجاد می شوند و به طور معمول یا در خود مغز (شامل نورون ها ،سلولهای گلیال، آستروسیت ها اولیگو دندروسیتها، سلول های اپندیمال، سلول های تولید کننده میلین شوان،بافت لنفاوی ،عروق خونی) ویا در اعصاب جمجمه ای، پرده مغزی( مننژ)،جمجمه ،هیپوفیز و غده صنوبری ایجاد می شود. تشخیص سریع تومور مغزی تنها در صورتی که ابزار و وسایل تشخیصی مناسبی که وضعیت حفره داخل جمجمه را به خوبی مشخص می سازند در دسترس باشند و به سرعت به کار گرفته شوند .اما به طور معمول تشخیص تومور مغزی در مراحل پیشرفته بیماری و هنگامی رخ می دهد که وجود تومور موجب بروز علائم و نشانه های غیرقابل توضیحی در بیمار شده است تاثیر درمان های معمول شامل : جراحی، رادیوتراپی، شیمی درمانی اثر بسیار کمی دارند و دارای عوارض جانبی و هزینه های سرسام آور متعددی هستند. بنابراین احتمال عود بیماری وجود دارد.در این مقاله یک روش جدیدی برای تشخیص سریع و زودهنگام تومور مغزی و راهکارهای علمی در جهت درمان آن بدون نیاز به مراحل شیمی درمانی و رادیو تراپی ارائه شده است که لازم به ذکر است عوارض جانبی زیادی ندارد و از نظر هزینه های درمانی بسیار کمتر از روش های مشابه قبلی است. از بیوسنسورها و تراشه می توان در جهت درمان تومور مغزی بدخیم استفاده کرد.بیوسنسورآپتامر، بیوسنسورمیکروفلوئیدیک ، سنسور پیزوالکتریک،زیست تراشه ریز سیال،سنسور فشاریکسو کننده برپایه سیلیکون،mems, سنسور نوری، سنسور حسگر ، سنسور الکترومغناطیسی به این صورت که با استفاده از دستگاه توده برداری که تراشه ریز سیال به نوک آن متصل هست و از توده نمونه برداری می کند ومجهز به دستگاه مکش برای تخلیه توده های جامد ونوک سوزنی برای تخلیه توده های مایع که اطراف مغز را فراگرفته است و از طریق دستگاه ساکشن که به دستگاه توده برداری متصل هست بیرون کشیده می شود که در متن مقاله چگونگی و جزئیات ایده پیشنهادی به صورت کامل توضیح داده شده است.
