the importance of mobile phones in our daily life and activities is undeniable. this is because in today s world, mobile phones are no longer a common means of communication. many daily tasks are performed using mobile applications. every software or mobile application goes through a cycle to be developed and used by the end user. one of these stages is the software testing. software quality is considered as a key indicator for the production of high-quality software, because while increasing the productivity in the production of software, it creates powerful and stable software and also leads to customer satisfaction. the purpose of software testing is to find out how well the produced software matches the specified requirements, customer needs, or their expectations, and finally to provide a product with the least number of errors and problems for the user. in this article, while reviewing and analyzing the tools and methods for evaluating the quality and testing of smart mobile phone applications from the four perspectives of usability, performance, compatibility and energy, the method of using the selected tools and performing tests in each perspective will be described.
