شناسایى مشکلات محیط شهرى براى فرد معلول اصل عمده در طراحى فضای سبز بدون مانع و قابل دسترس براى همگان راه داشتن و به کار بردن است. یعنى به طور کلى هم باید در محیط شهرى امکان دسترسى مناسب فراهم آید و هم تجهیزات شهرى قابل استفاده براى همة اقشار جامعه از جمله افراد معلول باشد. از این رو به هنگام مناسب سازى محیط شهرى براى همة معلولین جسمى حرکتى، به طور موردى لازم است که در ابتدا مشکلات و موانع محیط شناسایى و سپس راه حلهاى اجرایى مناسب و ضوابط مناسب سازى متناسب آن در هر بخش تدوین گردد. به این منظور مشکلات فرد معلول در فضای سبز شهرى شامل مسائل مربوط به معابر، تجهیزات، فضاى دسترسى پارک ها، به طور جداگانه، در شهر کازرون بررسى و شناسایى مى شود. براى تسهیل این امر نقشه اى از هریک از مناطق شهر مورد نظر بررسی و از آن براى انتخاب پراکندگى مناسب نقاط و پوشش دادن تقاطع ها و مسیرهاى مجاور اماکن عمومى پرتردد استفاده کرد. مسائل شناسایى شده عکس بردارى و مستند و با استفاده از تصاویر و نقشة شهر دسته بندى شدند و مسائل مشابه در یک گروه قرار گرفت.
