(chaste tree), renowned as a medicinal plant from the lamiaceae family and is native to the mediterranean region. in qom province, meticulous field studies unveiled the plant's chosen habitats, while a methodical random-systematic sampling approach dissected the composition of its species communities. the results of phenological studies showed that blue-purple clustered flowers are produced from mid-spring to late summer. upon examination of the climatic parameters, it is evident that this plant possesses remarkable flexibility. it has the ability to survive in temperatures ranging from -23 to 47 degrees celsius and can withstand an average annual rainfall of only 145.51 mm. according to the results of the soil survey, the soil texture in these areas is identified as silty loam. the chaste tree is an excellent choice for urban landscapes due to its ability to withstand harsh conditions and appealing aesthetic. additionally, it attracts pollinators and demands little maintenance, making it an ideal choice for enhancing the visual appeal of cityscape in arid regions and highlighting the harmonious relationship between nature and design.
