image reconstruction using a modified three-term conjugate gradient method

In a recent attempt to solve the image reconstruction problem, jiang et al. [1] introduced a new family of hybrid three-term conjugate gradient techniques which turned out to be theoretically effective and numerically efficient. here, according to their study, we suggest a new three-term conjugate gradient algorithm as a modified version of the polak–ribière–polyak method. numerical experiments on a set of cuter test functions and also, on some image reconstruction problems are done. they show that the proposed method performs promisingly in the computational viewpoint.
