اسفندار‌جشن یا سپندارمذگان در گاه‌شمار هجری خورشیدی

«سپندارمذ» یا «اسفندارمد»، در اساطیر ایران، امشاسپندیست با نماد زنانه که موکل بر زمین است و روز پنجم هر ماه اوستایی به نام اوست. بردباری، باروری، پرهیزگاری و بجااندیشی از صفات او هستند. یکی از جشن‌های دوازده‌گانه ایران باستان، «سپندارمذگان» است که پنجم اسفندماه برای بزرگداشت این امشاسپند، اجرا‌می‌شده و جشن یا عید زنان بوده‌است.این پژوهش توصیفی-کیفی، به تعیین زمان برگزاری این جشن در گاه‌شمار معاصر ایران می‌پردازد. بررسی نشان داد سال اوستایی از نوع خورشیدی و همه ماه‌های ‌آن 30 روزه بوده‌اند و پنج روز پایان سال را «پنجه دزدیده» می‌نامیدند. درنتیجه؛«اسفندارجشن» در تطبیق با گاه‌شمار هجری شمسی روز 29 بهمن خواهد‌بود. تاریخ دیگر جشن‌های دوازده‌گانه نیز بجز «فروردیگان» در تقویم رسمی ایران، جابجا می‌شود.

sepandārmaẟgān or esfandār feast in iran’s official calendar

s?pand?rma? or esfand?rmad, in iran mythology, is one of the holy immortals (amš?spand). she is the protector of the earth. the fifth day of each avestan month is named after her. endurance, fertility, virtue and righteousness are her characteristics. s?pand?rma?g?n is one of the duodecimal feasts in the avestan calendar, held on the fifth of esfand, in honor of this holy immortal. another name for s?pand?rma?g?n was women’s feast or eid. this descriptive-qualitative research intends to match the date of the aforementioned feast in iran’s recent official calendar. this study showed that the avestan year had been a solar year, and all months were equally 30 days. the remaining five days at the end of the year, was named “andarg?h” or “panj?-ye- dozd?d?”. therefore, esfand?r feast is on the 29th of bahman, in iran’s recent official calendar. accordingly, except for “farvard?g?n”, the date of the other duodecimal feasts, in iran’s recent official calendar, is different from the avestan year.
