بررسی اشعار عمروبن کلثوم براساس آراء اریک فروم

یکی از شاعران صاحب معلقه، عمرو بن کلثوم است که در قصاید او روح جنگ، حماسه، افتخار و تکبر بسیار به چشم می آید. جنگ یکی از تناقض های بشر است که از بدو خلقت آدمیان گریبان گیر آنان بوده است. جنگ در بین اعراب، به نوعی سنت تبدیل شده بود، به آن اندازه که تا به ظفر دست نمی یافتند، از تمام تمایلات مادی چشم پوشی می کردند. در هنگامه جنگ شاعران هر قبیله بر روح شجاعت و دلیری مردان میدان نبرد می دمیدند و بر روحیه ی دشمن ستیزی آنان می افزودند و عمرو بن کلثوم نیز خود شاعری به حساب می آمد که در بهبوهه جنگ حضور داشت. محیطی که عمرو در آن زندگی می کرد آنچنان پر از تنش و درگیری بود که با استناد به نظریه ی روانشناس آلمانی، اریک فروم، می توان این برداشت را کرد که عمرو شخصیتی خود کامه وسادیست به خود می گیرد که علاقه به ویرانگری دارد و در بعضی اشعارش میل به مرده گرایی و مال پرستی نمود پیدا می کند. در ادامه این پژوهش ما به اشعاری از ابن کلثوم اشاره خواهیم کرد که نمونه ی بارزی از پیوند نظریات اریک فروم با قصاید این شاعر می باشد.
