چکیده    Antimicrobial resistance poses a significant threat to global health, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying resistance development. here, a novel two-step methodology is proposed to identify and validate correlations between specific genes and antimicrobial resistance phenotypes. in the first step, the epidemiological screening, a truth table approach is utilized to assess potential correlations between the presence or absence of resistance genes (inputs) and the corresponding resistance or susceptibility of microbes to specific antimicrobials (outputs). in the second step, the experimental approval, molecular 'logic gates' are employed to validate the identified correlations in a laboratory setting. these gates represent different logical relationships between genes, allowing us to elucidate the specific roles of individual genes within the resistance pathway. this methodology offers a systematic approach for dissecting the complex relationships between genes and antimicrobial resistance. it provides a comprehensive framework for characterizing the molecular mechanisms underlying antimicrobial resistance.
