determining the sequence and phylogenetic analysis of dirofilaria emitis isolated from the blood of domestic dogs in rasht city

Heartworm disease is one of the most common diseases in dogs and other wild domestic carnivores with global spread. the causative agent of the nematode disease is dirofilaria immitis, which is transmitted by various types of mosquitoes, including the genus colex and armigers aids. the aim of this study was to determine the genotype and phylogenetic analysis of dirofilaria imitis isolated from the blood of domestic dogs. 150 domestic dogs were randomly sampled after recording clinical signs and examination. the modified knut method was used to identify dirofilaria imitis. mbst kit was used for molecular method and dna extraction. statistical analysis was performed using spss software. the results obtained from 150 cases؛ 10 dogs were infected with this flower (6.66%). phylogenetic analysis of cox-1 gene showed that the isolates of dirofilaria imitis in this study were isolated from isolates of dogs and jackals as well as isolates isolated from cats and humans. iran is 100% similar. also, the isolates of the present study were obtained with sequences from dogs from thailand, italy, china and australia, the isolation isolated from the jackal from italy and the isolation isolated from the fox from the united states and the latter from spain, 100% homology is. also, the strokes of the present study have a nucleotide difference between 0.4-7% with some isolates obtained from dogs from tand and italy. the main purpose of most studies that are done on the sentence and the amount of english consumption of dirofilaria immitis. however, it is also caused by this parasite in humans and it is recommended that in advanced studies, the degree of faith of dirofilaria in dog owners be investigated.
