چکیده
|
Cervical dysplasia is a precursor to cervical cancer and is associated with hpv infections. the purpose of this research is to investigate the effective factors in hpv infection and the importance of screening for early detection of cancer. in this research include 16 articles on cervical cytology of human papilloma virus, cancer and dysplasia, which were collected from scopus, civilka and irandoc databases. its purpose is to examine cervical dysplasia and to review the specifications and clinical symptoms caused by the hpv virus. the results of studies show that age is one of the most important determinants of hpv infection. and hpv persistence is associated with progression to squamous intraepithelial lesions. cervical cytology and hpv tests are recommended for cervical cancer screening. because the cytology test alone may have up to 25% false negative results. in addition, about 50-60% of cervical cancers are caused by hpv16 infection. and hpv18 is responsible for about 10-15% of its cases. considering the importance of age in determining hpv infection and its role in the development of dysplasia, the simultaneous use of hpv testing and cervical cytology methods (papanicolaou smear) or liquid-based cervical cytology such as sure path and thin prep can help increase screening accuracy and early detection of cervical cancer.
