چکیده    Due to the brucella bacterium s invasiveness, it often causes longer ovulation intervals, low-viability or stillbirth progeny, abortion, infertility, and reduced milk and meat output. accurate and timely diagnosis of this illness requires appropriate and effective diagnostic procedures. to prevent, treat, and eradicate this disease, it is vital to define its progression in different regions and time periods to adopt appropriate therapeutic and preventive measures. brucella in the aborted fetus secretions, fluids, and tissues spreads infection. this study monitored sheep contamination in isfahan with brucellosis, taking into account sheep s role in transmission, public health, and food security. in this study, a total of 72 sheep were selected from livestock farms in isfahan city. these sheep were then subjected to evaluation using the wright and rose bengal tests. the rose bengal method yielded a positive case rate of 2.75%, whereas the wright method had a positive case rate of 1.39%. the investigations indicate that the disease is prevalent among sheep in the isfahan region. it is advisable to develop a program that aims to test and euthanize affected animals while also vaccinating susceptible animals. this approach can effectively eradicate disease reservoirs and minimize the transmission and management of the disease.
