Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic bacterium and the most well-known causative agent of nosocomial infections. it can live in all environments and it is resistant to disinfectants. this study aimed to molecularly compare p. aeruginosa isolated from clinical and raw milk samples. the assumed pseudomonas spp. bacteria, which were previously isolated from bulk milk tank and patients with urinary tract infections and were detected using pcr, were sequenced, submitted to the national center for biotechnology information (ncbi), and compared with the similar pseudomonas spp. sequences available in blast. finally, two strains of p. aeruginosa from the infected urine, and three strains from raw cow milk were identified. the accession numbers of the deposited sequences in genbank database comprised or083631 and or083627 (from the infected urines) and pp750257, pp750258, and or083628 (from milk). the strains were phylogenetically analyzed using mega version 7.0 software (figure 1). the phylogenetic tree consisted of three branches and two clusters in an ingroup family. the branches included two strains from milk samples, one strain from urine, one strain from milk and one strain from urine. classifying of p. aeruginosa strains of milk and infected human urine in a branch highlights the maximum sequence identity between the isolates with different sources. the result emphasizes the necessity of controlling and prevention of this environmental pathogen.
