   application of lipid nanocapsules in improving the efficacy of anthelmintic drugs: a comprehensive review

چکیده    The use of lipid nanocapsules as one of the new technologies in drug delivery has significantly improved the effectiveness of anthelmintic drugs. due to their unique structure, these nanocapsules can deliver antiparasitic drugs to the site of infection in a targeted and controlled manner. this review article aims to investigate the role of lipid nanocapsules in enhancing the effectiveness of anthelmintic drugs. nanotechnologies in targeted drug delivery can increase the bioavailability of antiparasitic drugs such as albendazole and ivermectin and reduce the side effects of these drugs. anthelmintic drugs are usually poorly soluble in water, which makes lipid nanocapsules ideal for increasing drug bioavailability. encapsulating drugs like albendazole or ivermectin in lipid nanocapsules can enhance their distribution and absorption by cells. as a result, the drug s effectiveness is increased, the dose is reduced, and side effects are reduced. anthelmintic drugs can also be protected from premature degradation using lipid nanocapsules, which improve drug stability in the body. many studies have demonstrated that lipid nanocapsules can be used to increase the efficacy of anthelmintic drugs and also carry multiple drugs simultaneously, which can be useful for treating multiple parasitic infections simultaneously. biological barriers, such as the blood-brain barrier, can also be crossed by these nanocarriers, hence their use in treating neurological disorders caused by helminths. in conclusion, using nanocapsules can significantly improve helminth infection therapy and reduce drug resistance.
