This research delves into the impact of different enhancers in heightening the immune reaction to newcastle disease in poultry. several dimensions and configurations of gold nanoparticles (aunps) were utilized as boosters to enhance the effectiveness of the vaccine. the findings displayed a notable enhancement in immune response and antibody levels in vaccinated poultry when aunps were utilized, with discrepancies depending on the characteristics of the nanoparticles. introduction: newcastle disease (nd) is an exceptionally infectious viral ailment that impacts a broad array of bird species, causing significant economic setbacks in the poultry sector. vaccination is the primary approach to manage nd, but the efficiency of vaccines can be elevated with immunostimulators. this investigation examines the function of gold nanoparticles (aunps) as enhancers in enhancing the immunogenicity of nd vaccines in poultry. materials and methods: selection of boosters gold nanoparticles (aunps) of various dimensions (e.g., 10 nm, 20 nm, 50 nm) were synthesized and characterized. comparative enhancers encompassed alum and oil-based boosters. in this study the killed vaccine (pasouk) used as vaccine and antigen. vaccination protocol poultry was categorized into four groups: - group a: vaccine+aunps - group b: vaccine+alum- group c: vaccine+oil-based booster (montanide 720) - group d: vaccine alone (control) to monitoring immunization, the serum blood samples were pooled at consistent intervals to follow antibody levels utilizing elisa. challenge trials were executed to evaluate the protective efficiency of the vaccines. discussion: the information suggests that gold nanoparticles, notably those of smaller dimensions (10-20 nm), notably boost the immune response and protective efficacy of the newcastle disease vaccine in poultry. this enhancement is probably due to the extended surface area and interaction with immune cells, prompting a sturdier and more enduring immune reaction. conclusion gold nanoparticles exhibit potential as boosters for newcastle disease vaccines in poultry, offering superior protection and immune response compared to traditional boosters. further exploration is advised to refine the size and configuration of aunps for an even more enhanced vaccine performance.
