ترامپیسم و چشم انداز آن؛ تشدید بحران هویتی لیبرال دموکراسی و انحطاط ارزش‌های بنیادین آمریکایی در دوران ریاست جمهوری دونالد ترامپ

این تحقیق به پرسش اساسی می‌پردازد که چرا سیستم لیبرال دموکراسی آمریکایی در نهایت به ظهور ترامپیسم به‌عنوان محصول نهایی خود انجامید؟ فرضیه اصلی تحقیق این است که ترامپیسم، به‌عنوان یک پدیده پوپولیستی، به‌طور مستقیم از بحران‌های ساختاری و ایدئولوژیک لیبرال دموکراسی نشات گرفته است. این بحران‌ها عمدتاً ناشی از تضعیف اصول بنیادین دموکراسی همچون مشارکت مدنی، عدالت اجتماعی و اعتماد عمومی به نهادهای سیاسی بوده است. این بحران‌ها همراه با نارضایتی فزاینده از نخبگان سیاسی و فساد سیستماتیک، شرایطی را فراهم آورده‌اند که در آن گفتمان‌های پوپولیستی و ضد نخبگان توانسته‌اند به یک جنبش اجتماعی و سیاسی موثر تبدیل شوند که توسط دونالد ترامپ نمایندگی می‌شود. روش‌شناسی این تحقیق تحلیلی و تبیینی است. این مطالعه سعی دارد توضیح دهد که چگونه این عوامل در کنار هم آمده‌اند تا پدیده سیاسی ترامپیسم را شکل دهند. یافته‌های تحقیق نشان می‌دهند که ترامپیسم به‌عنوان نتیجه مستقیم فرایندهای پیچیده در بطن لیبرال دموکراسی آمریکایی، ناشی از بحران‌های هویتی و ناکامی در بازتولید برابری و عدالت اجتماعی ظهور کرده است. ترامپ از طریق گفتمان پوپولیستی، موفق شد بخش‌هایی از جامعه را که احساس می‌کردند از فرآیندهای دموکراتیک کنار گذاشته شده‌اند، بسیج کند. در این زمینه، ترامپ از بی‌اعتمادی عمیق به نخبگان بهره برد و راه‌حل‌های ساده‌انگارانه و تقلیل‌گرایانه‌ای ارائه داد که خود را به‌عنوان یک نیروی سیاسی آلترناتیو در برابر سیستم دموکراسی لیبرال معرفی کرد. بدین ترتیب، ظهور ترامپیسم به‌عنوان یک پاسخ متناقض به بحران‌های درونی لیبرال دموکراسی آمریکایی قابل درک است.

trumpism and its prospects: intensification of the liberal democracy identity crisis and the decline of fundamental american values during donald trump’s presidency

this study addresses the fundamental question: why did the american liberal democracy system ultimately lead to the emergence of trumpism as its final product? the main hypothesis of this research is that trumpism, as a populist phenomenon, directly stems from the structural and ideological crises of liberal democracy. these crises are primarily due to the weakening of fundamental democratic principles such as civic participation, social justice, and public trust in political institutions. along with growing dissatisfaction with political elites and systemic corruption, these crises created conditions in which populist and anti-elite discourses transformed into an influential social and political movement, represented by donald trump. the methodology of this research is analytical and explanatory. this study seeks to explain how these factors have converged to shape the political phenomenon of trumpism. the findings indicate that trumpism, as a direct result of complex processes within american liberal democracy, emerged from identity crises and failures in reproducing equality and social justice. through a populist discourse, trump managed to mobilize segments of society that felt excluded from democratic processes. in this context, he exploited deep-seated distrust toward elites and offered simplistic and reductionist solutions, presenting himself as an alternative political force against the liberal democratic system. thus, the emergence of trumpism can be understood as a paradoxical response to the internal crises of american liberal democracy.
