ظهور دولت ضعیف و گسترش چالش‌ های اجتماعی و راهبردی آمریکا

اگر کشوری تهدیدات فراروی خود را از دست بدهد، در آن شرایط قادر به ایجاد انسجام ملی در داخل کشور نخواهد بود. در این راستا هانتینگتون به این موضوع اشاره دارد که ایالات ‌متحده آمریکا در سال‌های بعد از جنگ سرد به گونه تدریجی مشروعیت ساختاری خود را از دست داده و باعث شده زمینه برای ظهور هویت‌های چالشی در داخل ایالات‌ متحده فراهم آید، ازاین‌رو آمریکا در وضعیت بحرانی است. در واقع ارزیابی‌های شکل‌ گرفته نشان می‌دهد که ایالات ‌متحده در وضعیت «دولت ضعیف» ‌قرار دارد. لذا در این مقاله کوشش خواهیم نمود به این پرسش پاسخ دهیم که علت و نشانه‌های اصلی افول آمریکا در نظام بین‌الملل کدام‌اند؟ پس از تجزیه‌وتحلیل نشانه‌های درون ساختاری ظهور دولت ضعیف در آمریکا، بر این باور هستیم که نشانه‌های منطقه‌ای و بین‌المللی زمینه ظهور دولت ضعیف و گسترش چالش‌های اجتماعی را در آمریکا فراهم نموده است. همچنین گسترش چالش‌های اجتماعی، ظهور هویت انتقادی، افزایش انتظارات جامعه، بازتولید دیگری در سیاست جهانی و افزایش بدهی‌های آمریکا در اقتصاد بین‌الملل عامل اصلی افول ایالات‌ متحده خواهد بود. چارچوب نظری این مقاله بر مبنای جابه‌جایی قدرت ژئوپلیتیکی طراحی‌ شده و روش تحقیق نیز دارای رویکرد توصیفی و از نوع تحلیلی-نهادی می‌باشد و روش گردآوری داده‌ها نیز بر مبنای کتابخانه‌ای و منابع معتبر اینترنتی است.
