ایالات متحده؛ جایگاه و قدرت هژمون

بعد از جنگ سرد و فروپاشی شوروی، ایالات متحده به دلیل برتری در قدرت، به یک قدرت بلامنازع (هژمون) تبدیل شد. در قرن بیست و یکم، با توجه ‌به تحولات جهانی، نظم بین‌الملل و تغییر سیاست بین‌الملل جایگاه هژمونی ایالات متحده آمریکا را با چالش‌های جدیدی مواجه نمودند. در این راستا، سوال اصلی پژوهش حاضر این است که آیا در دهه دوم قرن حاضر، ایالات متحده همچنان جایگاه و قدرت هژمون خود را حفظ نموده است؟ یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که ایالات متحده دیگر در جایگاه هژمون قرار ندارد. در ارتباط با قدرت این کشور در حوزه قدرت سخت، همچنان جایگاه برتر را در بخش قدرت نظامی حفظ نموده، اما در بخش قدرت اقتصادی و در مقایسه با رشد اقتصادی چین، مشخص می‌شود که جایگاه اقتصاد ایالات متحده نسبت به قبل متزلزل شده و دیگر به‌عنوان تنها قدرت برتر در این زمینه محسوب نمی‌گردد. در حوزه قدرت نرم و در بخش فرهنگ نیز، زوال نسبی در آموزش ‌دیده می‌شود و در بخش ارزش‌ها و مشروعیت، به دلیل سیاست خارجی ایالات متحده مبتنی بر «اول آمریکا» و اقدامات یک‌جانبه‌گرایی، زوال نسبی در نظم هژمونی لیبرال مبتنی بر دموکراسی و تضمین امنیتی ایالات متحده، حوزه قدرت نرم ایالات متحده با افول نسبی مواجه شده است. در نتیجه می‌توان اظهار داشت که ایالات متحده در توانمندی‌هایش دچار افول نسبی شده است. پژوهش حاضر پژوهشی توصیفی-تحلیلی بوده و روش گردآوری اطلاعات به‌صورت داده‌های مختلف، از طریق استفاده از منابع کتابخانه‌ای و مجازی است.

the united states; the position and power of the hegemon

after the cold war and the collapse of the soviet union, the united states enhanced an undisputed power (hegemon) because of its superiority in power. in the 21st century, the global hegemonic position of the united states of america has confronted modern challenges due to global developments, international order, and changing international politics. in this regard, the critical question of the present study is whether, in the second decade of the present century, has the united states maintained its position and power of hegemony? findings showed the united states is no longer a hegemon. in terms of its power in the field of hard power, it still maintains a it’s leading position in the field of armed power, but in the field of economic power and comparing the economic growth of china, it is clear that the position of the us economy is more insecure than before. it is no longer considered the only superior power in this field. in the field of soft power and the sector of culture, there is a relative decline in education, and in the sector of values and legitimacy, because of us foreign policy based on &america first& and unilateral actions, the relative decline in a liberal hegemonic order based on democracy. and us security assurance, the us soft power sphere is relatively declining. as a result, it can be stated that the united states has seen a relative decline in its capabilities. the present study is descriptive/analytical research .
