یک نظام اقتصادی قوی و یکپارچه، ترکیبی از مولفه های هماهنگ قدرت سخت و نرم است تکیه صرف برتوان نظامی و قدرت سخت، نادیده انگاری سرمایه انسانی و نیز وسیج توده های مردمی به مثابه قدرت نرم از عوامل موثر در افول تدریجی یک نظام استت آمریکا علی رغم اینکه عنوان بزرگ ترین اقتصاد جهان را نزدیک به 21 تریلیون دلار و یشترین مخارج نظامی را در دنیا، 732 میلیارد دلار، به خود اختصاص داده اما از حیث درآمد سرانه، بالغ بر 65000 دلار، در رتبه هفتم جهان قرار گرفته است و ضریب جینی (شاخص توزیع درآمد) این کشور 0.852 است که مبین توزیع شدیداً نابراور درآمدها و ثروت ها است شکاف درآمدی بین خانوارهای سفیدپوست و سیاه پوست نیز به شدت در حال افزایش استت شاخص ادراک نژادپرستی (بازه صفرتا یک) در آمریکا در بین 76 کشور، 18 / 5 گزارش شده کهاین کشور را در رتبه سیزدهم قرار می دهد این حقایق مدون دلالت بر نوعی رابطه مثبت میان افزایش مخارج نظامی با افزایش فقر و بی عدالتی در جامعه آمریکا دارد. در این مقاله، با کمک داده های سری زمانی، طی سال های 1970 تا 2019 سعی داشته نشان دهد که با افزایش مخارج نظامی و جنگ افروزی، نابراوری و شکاف طبقاتی در آمریکا رو به افزایش است.

a strong and integrated economic system is a combination of coordinated components of hard and soft power. relying solely on military power and hard power and ignoring human capital and mobilizing the masses as soft power, causes the gradual decline of the system. despite being the world’s largest economy with $ 21 trillion and the largest military spending in the world ($ 732 billion), the united states ranks seventh in the world in terms of per capita income ($ 65,000) and has a gini coefficient (income distribution index) of 0.852 and indicates a highly unequal distribution of income and wealth. the income gap between white and black households is also widening sharply. the racism perception index (zero to one) in the united states was reported at 5.18 out of 76 countries, ranking it 13th. these stylized facts indicate a positive relationship between increasing military spending and increasing poverty and injustice in american society. this study, with the help of time series data from the period 1970-1970, shows that with increasing military spending and inciting war, inequality and the poverty-rich gap in the united states is increasing.
