تحلیل نقش آمریکا در رقابت تسلیحاتی کشورهای غرب آسیا (2000 تا 2020)

فرآیند رقابت تسلیحاتی در میان کشورهای منطقه غرب آسیا در دو دهه اخیر شدت بیشتری یافته است، تا آنجا که بخش اعظم درآمدهای اقتصادی کشورهای این منطقه، صرف هزینه‌های دفاعی و خریدهای تسلیحاتی شده است؛ اما در این رقابت، آمریکا نقش بارز و مهم‌تری نسبت به دیگر قدرت‌های جهانی در این منطقه ایفا کرده است. سوالی مهمی که در ارتباط با این فرآیند مطرح می‌شود این است که علت نقش برجسته آمریکا در افزایش رقابت تسلیحاتی کشورهای غرب آسیا چه بوده است؟ نتایج نشان می‌دهد که آمریکا به‌عنوان یک قدرت سرکرده و هژمون، تجارت اسلحه در غرب آسیا را در اهداف داخلی، منطقه‌ای و جهانی تعریف کرده است و علل بروز نقش برجسته آمریکا می‌تواند در سطح داخلی ناشی از رونق بخشیدن به اقتصاد و صنعت تسلیحاتی و در سطح منطقه‌ای ناشی از افزایش قدرت بازدارندگی کشورهای غرب آسیا که متحد آمریکا در برابر ایران هستند، توجیه حضور خود در غرب آسیا برای کسب هژمون منطقه‌ای، شکل دادن به نظم موردنظر خود برای تسلط بر منطقه و مبارزه با تروریسم را شامل می‌شود و در سطح بین‌المللی حفظ و ارتقای هژمونی خود در رقابت با قدرت‌های بزرگ است. چارچوب نظری مقاله حاضر، بر مبنای نظریه نوواقع‌گرایی و مفاهیم اقتصاد دفاعی طراحی شده است و با استفاده از روش کتابخانه‌ای، داده‌ها را جمع‌آوری نموده و با رویکرد توصیفی- تحلیلی به تحلیل آن‌ها پرداخته است.

analysis of america’s role in the arms race of west asian countries (2000 to 2020)

the process of arms competition among the countries of the west asian region has intensified in the last two decades to the extent that most of the economic incomes of the countries of this region have been spent on defense costs and weapons purchases; but in this competition, america has played a more prominent and important role than other world powers in this region. an important question that is raised in connection with this process is, what was the reason for the prominent role of america in increasing the arms race of west asian countries? the results show that the united states, as a leading and hegemonic power, has defined the arms trade in west asia in terms of domestic, regional and global goals, and the causes of the prominent role of the united states can be domestically due to the prosperity of the economy and the arms industry. at the regional level, as a result of the increasing deterrence power of the united states of west asia against iran, it includes justifying its presence in west asia to gain regional hegemony, forming its desired order to dominate the region and fight against terrorism, and at the international level, maintaining and promoting his hegemony in competition with great powers. the theoretical framework of this article is designed based on the theory of neo-realism and the concepts of defense economy. and by using the library method, he collected the data and analyzed them with a descriptive-analytical approach.
