توسعه پایدار در تعریف، برنامه ریزی و مدیریت توسعه شهری است که منجر به ساخت و ساز پایدار به هدف افزایش کیفیت زندگی، ارائه رضایت افراد، انعطاف پذیری و پتانسیل برای پاسخگویی به تغییرات در آینده، فراهم کردن و حمایت از محیط های طبیعی و اجتماعی مطلوب و حداکثر استفاده کارآمد از منابع می شود. از این رو در این تحقیق ابتدا به مفهوم توسعه پایدار پرداخته می شود. در ادامه اهمیت توجه به توسعه پایدار و فعالیتها و تحقیقات انجام شده در این حوزه مورد بررسی قرار می گیرد. سپس موادی که می توانند این مهم را محقق کنند، معرفی می شوند و نهایتا پیشنهاداتی که می تواند توسعه پایدار را در ساخت و ساز ممکن سازد آورده می شود.

sustainable development is the definition, planning, and management of urban development that leads to sustainable construction with the aim of increasing the quality of life, providing people s satisfaction, flexibility and potential to respond to changes in the future, providing and supporting natural environments. and socially desirable and maximum efficient use of resources. therefore, in this research, the concept of sustainable development is discussed first. in the following, the importance of paying attention to sustainable development and the activities and research done in this field will be examined. then the materials that can realize this important are introduced and finally the suggestions that can make sustainable development possible in construction are given.
