اثر نوآوری بر شاخص رقابت‌پذیری جهانی اقتصاد: مطالعه موردی کشورهای عضو اوپک

شاخص رقابت‌پذیری جهانی اقتصاد در کشورهای مختلف نشان‌دهنده پتانسیل کشورها برای تولید و رشد و رقابت در عرصه ‏جهانی می‌باشد. عوامل متعددی بر این شاخص اثرگذار هستند. یکی از این متغیرها، سطح نوآوری کشورها می‌باشد که با ‏استفاده از شاخص نوآوری جهانی اندازه‌گیری می‌شود. بر این اساس این مطالعه به بررسی اثر شاخص نوآوری جهانی بر ‏رقابت‌پذیری جهانی کشورهای عضو اوپک طی دوره زمانی 2022-2010 با استفاده از داده‌های پانل می‌پردازد. کشورهای ‏مورد بررسی در این مطالعه شامل ایران، عربستان، قطر، کویت، عراق و امارات می‌باشد. نتایج حاصل از تخمین مدل نشان داده ‏است که شاخص نوآوری جهانی اقتصاد بر شاخص رقابت‌پذیری جهانی کشورها تاثیر مثبت و معنادار داشته است. نتایج دیگر ‏تحقیق نشان داده است که مخارج تحقیق و توسعه و بهره‌وری کل عوامل تولید، اثر مثبت و معنادار بر رقابت‌پذیری کشورهای ‏عضو اوپک می‌باشد. همچنین اثر متقاطع نوآوری و تحقیق و توسعه نیز دارای اثر مثبت و معناداری بر رقابت پذیری کشورها ‏داشته است. ‏

the effect of innovation on the global economic competitiveness index: a case study of opec member countries

the global competitiveness index of the economy in different countries shows the potential of countries for production and growth and competition in the world arena. several factors affect this index. one of these variables is the innovation level of countries, which is measured using the global innovation index. based on this, this study examines the effect of global innovation index on the global competitiveness of opec member countries during the time period of 2010-2022 using panel data. the countries investigated in this study include iran, saudi arabia, qatar, kuwait, iraq, and the united arab emirates. the results of the model estimation have shown that the global economic innovation index has a positive and significant effect on the global competitiveness index of countries. other research results have shown that research and development expenses and the productivity of all production factors have a positive and significant effect on the competitiveness of opec member countries. also, the cross effect of innovation and research and development has a positive and significant effect on the competitiveness of countries.
