بررسی وضعیت سواد محیط زیستی سازمان های مردم نهاد محیط زیستی با توجه به سطوح تحصیلی مختلف

سواد محیط زیستی به عنوان یکی از عوامل اصلی آموزش محیط زیست را می توان یک نظام فکری جدید اطلاق نمود که در آن دانش، نگرش و رفتار بایستی در جهت هماهنگی با طبیعت متحول گردد. بنابراین بررسی مولفه های سواد محیط زیستی در جوامع و سازمان های مختلف به منظور نو سازی جامعه ضرروری است. این مطالعه به منظور شناسایی سطح دانش، نگرش و رفتار محیط زیستی، در میان افراد عضو در سازمان های مردم نهاد محیط زیستی انجام شد. این پایش روی 115 فرد عضو در سازمان های غیر دولتی انجام شد. در این مطالعه از یک پرسشنامه استاندارد که شامل 45 سوال بود برای بررسی سطح سواد محیط زیستی افراد استفاده شد. مقایسات آماری نتایج حاصل از بررسی های سطح دانش محیط زیستی نشان داد که به طور کلی، سطح دانش محیط زیستی به ترتیب در افراد دارای مدرک تحصیلی دکتری بیشتر از افراد دارای مدارک تحصیلی فوق لیسانس، لیسانس و زیر لیسانس بود (0.001>p). علارغم اینکه رفتار محیط زیستی بین افراد در برخی از مسایل محیط زیستی شامل موضوعات مربوط به مصرف انرژی و مطالعه مطالب مربوط به حفاظت محیط زیست متفاوت بود (0.05>p)، اما این تفاوت در بسیاری دیگر از مسایل محیط زیست معنادار نبود. علاوه براین، اختلاف چندانی در نگرش محیط زیستی افراد با توجه به سطوح تحصیلی نیز مشاهده نشد. با توجه به سطوح تحصیلی به عنوان یک مسیر در زندگی، می توان نتیجه گرفت که سطوح تحصیلی، تنها می تواند سطح دانش را افزایش دهد، اما نمی تواند به تنهایی نتایج مطلوبی را در رابطه با سطوح نگرش و رفتار محیط زیستی بیشتر در افراد ایجاد کند.

the status of environmental ngos’ literacy associated with educational levels

environmental literacy as one of the main factors of environmental education can be defined as a new thought system in which knowledge, attitude and behavior, as well as individuals and social responsibility, should be developed according to and in full harmony with nature. thus, the study of the environmental literacy components in communities and organizations is essential to modernize society. this study was conducted to identify the environmental knowledge, attitudes and behaviour among individuals who were members of environmental non government organizations (engos). the survey was conducted on 115 individuals who were members of engos. a standard questionnaire which included 45 questions was employed to investigate the environmental literacy levels of the individuals. statistical comparisons of the results of the tests of environmental knowledge showed that the environmental knowledge level was higher in individuals who had phd than individuals who had master, bachelor and graduate degrees respectively, as well (p<0.001). despite the difference in environmentally responsible behaviour between individuals in some environmental issues including the issues related to energy consumption and the study of material relating to environmental protection regarding education levels (p<0.05), there was no significant difference in many other environmental issues. moreover, regarding education levels, there was not much difference in the environmental attitude of the individuals. regarding education levels as a way of life, it can be concluded that education raises only the level of knowledge, but cannot make alone the desired results in terms of a more environmental attitude and behavior in individuals.
