آیین سماع و موسیقی عرفانی ایران در آثار فارسی شهاب‌الدین یحیی سهروردی

نزد برخی صاحب‌نظران، موسیقی یادآور آواز کیهانی است که همۀ هستی بهره‌مند از این آواز، در چرخش و گردش‌اند. سماع نزد صوفیان یادآور سماع عارفانۀ انسان و خدا در عالم ذر و عهد الست است. در آثار به جا مانده از دیرزمان در فرهنگ ایرانی به مسئلۀ سماع پرداخته‌شده است. سهروردی احیاگر حکمت اشراق در آثار عرفانی فارسی‌اش از دیدگاه ویژۀ خود به سماع می‌پردازد. با‌ توجه ‌به اهمیت این مسئله، ما در این پژوهش در پی پاسخگویی به دو پرسش هستیم؛ اول این‌که موسیقی عرفانی (سماع عارفانه) از دیدگاه سهروردی چه کارکردهایی دارد و دوم، موسیقی عرفانی چگونه ما را تا رسیدن به حقیقت یاری می‌دهد. در این مقاله روش پژوهش، مراجعه مستقیم به آثار فارسی عرفانی سهروردی و توصیف و تحلیل دیدگاه وی دربارۀ سماع است. در نگاه سهروردی برای سماع سه کارکرد می‌توان قائل شد؛ نخست، جان افسرده و خاطر حزین او را شادی و طرب می‌بخشد. دوم، برای رسیدن به حقیقت و درراه رسیدن به آن در او ایجاد انگیزه و شوق می‌کند و سوم، برای رسیدن به حقیقت به او توان می‌بخشد و زمینۀ لازم جهت دریافت معارف معنوی را در وی فراهم می‌آورد.

according to some scholars, music is reminiscent of the cosmic song, where all of xistence partakes in a rotational and cyclical dance. for sufis, sama evokes the ystical dance between humans and god in the primordial realm and the covenant of alast. in he ancient cultural heritage of iran, the concept of sama has been extensively explored. suhrawardi, the reviver of illuminationist philosophy, discusses sama from his unique erspective in his persian mystical works. given the significance of this topic, this research aims to answer two questions: first, what functions does mystical music (mystical sama) serve according to suhrawardi? second, how does mystical music aid us in reaching the truth? the research methodology involves direct reference to suhrawardi’s persian mystical works, with a description and analysis of his views on sama.suhrawardi identifies three functions of sama: it brings joy and delight to the distressed soul and sorrowful mind. it creates motivation and enthusiasm in the seeker on the path to the truth. it empowers the individual to reach the truth and prepares the necessary groundwork for receiving spiritual knowledge.
