نظام آفرینش برعدالت و اعتدال گرایی بنیان شده است ویکی از اصلی ترین اهداف رسالت انبیا می باشد. اجرای قسط و عدل و برقراری آن در جامعه از اهمیت خاصی برخوردار است. تمدن اسلامی با تشکیل حکومت نبوی شکل گرفته است . عدالت، علم و دانش پروری از مهم ترین شاخصه های دین اسلام است، در کتاب قرآن بسیار مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. عدالت به عنوان یک اصل مهم و بنیادی در اسلام مطرح شده و یکی از مهم ترین و بارزترین مولفه های دینی و فرهنگی در تمدن اسلامی است . این مقاله به بررسی بررسی نقش وجایگاه عدالت در تمدن نوین اسلامی با آثارسعدی پرداخته شده است. آثار سعدی برپایه دین و سیاست و عدالت با تقوا گره خورده است. سعدی عدل را نمایانگر یک اجتماع سالم می داند که به گروه خاصی نظر ندارد، بلکه به همه اقشار و طبقات اجتماع توجه می کند. سعدی عدالت را حد واسط میان حکومت و مردم قرار می دهد و محور عدل را رفتار حاکمان می داند. سعدی به امور دنیا و دین تاکید می ورزد، برای رسیدن به الگوی برتر حکومتی قانونمند ، نگرشی اسوه گرا دارد و به آموزه های دینی تکیه می کند. ویژگی های حاکم عادل را به عنوان رکن اصلی یک جامعه آرمانی، جهت گسترش عدالت بیان شده است. این مقاله با روش تحقیق مطالعه کتابخانه ای و از نوع توصیفی- تحلیلی نگاشته شده است.
