Ternary cocrsn nanowire arrays (35 nm in diameter) were prepared using ac electrodeposition method into nanopores of -anodized aluminum oxide templates (aao) and their magnetic and structural properties were investigated by a vibrating sample magnetometer (vsm) it was found that, by increasing the electrodeposition time up to three minutes coercivity of nanowires has increased from 1250 to 1550 oe, which is due to the increase in the ratio of length to diameter of nanowires. however, with the increase of the electrodeposition time up to 10 minutes, the coercivity remained almost constant; and with the increase of electrodeposition time up to 15 minutes, a decrease in coercivity to 1050 oe is observed, which is probably due to defects in the structure and. non-parallel holes of the template. the results showed that the coercivity and the squareness ratio of the nanowires were higher when the applied field was parallel to the nanowire axis, indicating the role of shape anisotropy.
