چکیده    Nowadays, the discovery of different drugs for the treatment of various diseases and determining their amount and dosage to reduce their side effects, has become a fundamental diagnostic tool in modern medicine. in recent decades, one of the simplest, economical and cheapest methods for the analyzing of drug molecules is the electrochemical techniques. it is noteworthy that when using an electrochemical method for the analysis of medicinal compounds, the presence of overvoltage and slow kinetics can be significant challenges. to overcome these problems, it has been suggested that a powerful and highly conductive catalyst was selected in the fabricating electrochemical sensors [1]. therefore, with this background, in this research was attempted to the synthesize of cu-btc, as a member of the mofs family material and dopig with 2-methylimidazole (2-mim) and carbon nanoparticles functionalized by cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (ctab), (cfcnp) to preparation of the cu3(btc)2-2-mim with functionalized carbon nanoparticle through a simple chemical method. the morphological and structural characterizations of the all-synthesized materials were fully characterized by scanning electron microscopy (sem), (x-ray diffraction) xrd, and electrochemical studies. to know the ability of synthetic materials in terms application, the cu3(btc)2-2-mim with functionalized carbon nanoparticle was placed on the surface of the glassy carbon electrode (gce) (cu3(btc)2-2-mim/cfcnp/gce) as a modifier to clarify the electrocatalytic properties of acyclovir (acy) in sodium hydroxide (naoh) solution. the diffusion coefficient (dacy =9.25×10−6 cm2 s−1) and catalytic rate constant (kcat=10.1×105 cm3 mol−1 s−1) were estimated for the oxidation of at the surface of modified electrode. under the optimal condition, the cu3(btc)2-2-mim/cfcnp/gce displays a good electrochemical nature for acy in the 2.49-84.28 μm range, with a low limit of detection (lod) 2.98 µm (s/n =3) and a great reproducibility, repeatability and admirable selectivity. totally, the cu3(btc)2-2-mim/cfcnp/gce was successfully applied for the determination of acy in human blood serum and pharmaceutical samples
