   development of electrochemical supercapacitor based on applying zeolite-based nanostructures

چکیده    Among various types of energy storage devices, supercapacitors have considered great attention due to the advantages such as high power density, fast charge/discharge speed ratio, low maintenance cost, long cycle life compared to batteries and higher energy density than to ordinary capacitor. in the fabrication process of the high-performance supercapacitors, suitable electrode materials with high oxidation and reduction activity, good conductivity and good electrical stability should be created. zeolites as an effective modifier agent with high porosity, high catalytic activity, high crystallinity, low density and high surface area are widely considered as electrode materials for developing supercapacitors. in this study, the electrochemical behavior of the modified electrode with zeolite for applying in the fabrication process of supercapacitors was investigated. according to the extensive studies in this regard, the successful synthesis of the provided zeolite and related zeolite-based nanostructures have been effectively confirmed with various characterization techniques including fe-sem, eds, xrd and xps. accordingly, zeolite-based nanostructures showed a high specific capacity of 263 f. g-1 at 30 mv/s and also the power and energy densities of 980.6 w. kg-1 and 22500 wh. kg-1 were obtained at current density of 0.0001 a. g-1, which implies that the mentioned nanostructure could be used as a potential composite for energy storage systems.
