تاثیر استفاده از برنامه ی روزتا استون بر یادگیری واژگان زبان انگلیسی در دانش‌آموزان دختر پایه هفتم شهر کرج

دلیل اساسی توجه به فناوری‌های الکترونیکی، تاثیر قابل توجه آن‌ها بر نظام آموزشی، به‌ویژه بر فرآیند آموزش و یادگیری است. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین تاثیر استفاده از برنامه روستا استون بر یادگیری واژگان دانش‌آموزان دختر پایه هفتم انجام شد. برای این منظور 80 شرکت‌کننده با طرح شبه آزمایشی، و پیش‌آزمون-پس‌آزمون به دو گروه آزمایش و کنترل تقسیم شدند. بدین ترتیب، گروه کنترل آموزش سنتی و گروه آزمایش آموزش روستا استون را دریافت کردند. این دوره، پنج جلسه به طول انجامید. یافته‌ها نشان داد که میانگین پیش‌آزمون هر دو گروه مشابه بود، اما پس‌آزمون آنها متفاوت بود و گروه آزمایش از گروه کنترل بهتر عمل کرد. با کمک این برنامه، دانش آموزان می توانند فرصت های یادگیری لغات جدید را افزایش دهند. بنابراین به مدیران، معلمان، والدین و دانش آموزان پیشنهاد می گردد که با کمک فناوری های جدید از جمله برنامه های آموزش زبان، یادگیری واژگان جدید را سرعت ببخشند.

the effect of rosetta stone application on the english vocabulary learning of seventh-grade female students in karaj

the fundamental reason for paying attention to electronic technologies is their substantial influence on the educational system, notably on the teaching and learning process. this study aims to determine the effect of the rosetta stone application on seventh-grade female students’ vocabulary learning in a foreign language setting. to this aim, 80 participants were divided into two groups experimental and control groups, recruiting a quasi- experimental design, with pretest-posttest designs. thus, the control group received traditional instruction, while the experimental group received rosetta stone instruction. the treatment lasted five sessions. the findings revealed that both groups’ pre-test mean were similar but their post-test were different and the experimental group outperformed the control group. with the help of this program, students can increase their opportunities of learning new vocabulary. therefore, managers, teachers, parents, and students are suggested to speed up the learning of new vocabulary with the help of new technologies, including language teaching applications.
